So far two albums credits and countless hit songs and singles to his name, Dj s.a.k (Shaheed Ali Khan) has thrived in the music business for more than 5 years to date. He is a dj, singer, mc, radio jockey, rapper, producer and a song writer. As a dj in his over 11 year career he has played in nearly all the top clubs and venues in Kenya. On the local scene artists such as Redsan, Nameless, The Late E-Sir, Deux Vultures, Sodi Sigh, The Angels and Pappi sigh have curtain raised for dj s.a.k on his “Mpenzi Cd Launch”.

Shaheed Ali Khan - the producer, composer, arranger, singer and musician from Mombasa, Kenya, now living in Nairobi - is a music machine. Since his introduction in the Kenyan music, dj s.a.k`s creative talents have seen become an accomplished key player in the industry. His extensive experience of music recording has included working with artists and producers like Ted Josaya, Ambrose, Mike Raber, Homeboiz, Eric Musioka, Dj Ned, Hotty, Fundi Frank, Hotty and Mustafa of Deux Vultures. As a dj, he introduced the decks vs dhols concept in Kenya, where he mixes music and the dhol players playing live dhol for a perfect fusion of the eastern and western culture which became very popular and was adapted by all and proof that dj s.a.k`s musical visions could well have been ahead of his time.

Currently, in addition to his continuing career as a producer, he is working on “The Kendian Project” - this is all his own work, a new dance fusion and hip hop style fusing bhangra, bollywood samples with local Kiswahili and powerful beats. Bhangra beats pumping up the adrenaline, with sugary sweet vocals of various local artists takes big strides towards musical immortality...sublime Kenyan, Indian… Making it Kendian!!! As an experiment he released a powerful dance number with collaboration between himself and Mustafa of Deux Vultures. The song (Twanga Twanga) became as instant hit and welcomed by all cultures. The song was also voted Nairobis song of the year 2003 and it was fused with Lata Mageshkars super hit track Jiya Jaleh of the film Dil Se.
